Job Description:

ADMINISTRATIVE PASTOR                                                            

ACCOUNTABLE TO: Lead Pastor and Pastor’s Cabinet

PURPOSE: To serve the church by coordinating and implementing the overall ministry of the church. Working under the direction of the lead pastor to facilitate the vision, develop new ministries in keeping with established goals, maximize the effectiveness of the present ministries, and give leadership to and supervise staff members and volunteers.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Administrative Pastor will work closely with the Lead Pastor in vision/strategic development and will assume primary responsibility for the day-to-day management of the church.  The Administrative Pastor will free the Lead Pastor to devote more time to the preaching and teaching of the Word.  The Administrative Pastor will play a significant role in the strategic planning of the church and will help to drive the vision throughout the pastoral staff.  The Administrative Pastor will assume the oversight of all pastoral, clerical, and custodial staff.

VISION and STRATEGIC PLANNING: Work with the Lead Pastor to fulfill the vision of the church by developing the necessary strategies to carry out the vision.  The Administrative Pastor will be responsible for creating plans in conjunction with pastoral staff to accomplish the strategies of the God-given vision of Eagle Heights Church.

EDUCATION:  Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.

EXPERENCE:  5 years experience preferred.
