20 hours per week/$840 per month


Scheduled Time Commitments:


            Tuesday Staff Meeting: 1:00-2:00pm

            Wednesday Night Large Group:  6:15-8:15pm

            Saturday Night Small Group: 7:30-9:00pm


The vision of Lake City Community Church (LC3) is to Love God, Love Others & Love the World. The new Middle School Youth Director should follow the vision of the church both in ministry and in their personal life. More information on the beliefs of LC3 can be found on the website:


LC3 is seeking a God-fearing leader - someone who leads by example and seeks first the Kingdom of God. The Middle School Youth Director should be someone who is consistently growing in their faith - active in the spiritual disciplines of prayer & Bible reading and pursuing Christ on a daily basis.



Job Responsibilities


  • Direct oversight of the Middle School Ministry under the guidance and vision of the Director of Student Ministries
  • Managing/recruiting a team of volunteers
  • Manage the organization of Saturday Night Small Groups
  • Manage the organization of Wednesday Night Large Groups - to include teaching on a regular basis
  • Manage the implementation of a Mentoring Program between leaders & students (3:1)
  • Participate/Assist in the leadership of Summer Camp and Winter Retreat
  • Facilitate monthly events/activities
  • Report Goals regularly to the Director of Student Ministries
  • Connect with families on a regular basis. As a Family Equipping church - the Middle School Youth Director will need to make an effort towards intergenerational ministry
