serve within the other areas of the ministry as we believe this is the most effective way to reach families and eliminates ministry gaps. It also creates constant opportunties for personal and professional growth.

Here is the job descitption summary for the Student and Children Pastor
Reports directly to the Executive Family Minister. Works alongside the Executive Family Minister and the Campus Pastor to effectively execute the vision of Mosaic Church at all Campuses.
Primary area of responsibliy is serving students in grades 6-12 through our Wednesday night services and Sunday evening High School Community Groups. Leads all volunteers, camps and events for this group. Over sees and leads the High School area of our student
Secondary area is Children's Ministry throughout the Children's Ministry which serves children in grades Kinder-5th and meets during our Sunday morning services. The Student and Children Pastor has influence in this area because those children will soon
be graduating into the student ministry and we want the transition to be smooth and success. We want to eliminate the traditional ministry gaps in this area and lower the student attrition rates.
Ideally, this person would be able to lead worship for the Children's Ministry on Sundays and assist with worship coordiation within all of the family ministry.
Because our main campus is currently set up and break down, this person must assist in the coordination of all service set up and break down activities at the campus. The must also attend all weekly staff meetings and attends other special staff meetings.
Under the direction of the Executive Family Minister, this person executes the vision of the Family Ministry by coordinating efforts with the Family Ministry Team to establish an effective ministry which connects students with God and one another and ministers
to the families in a way that supports and encourages the spiritual and overall health in the home.
This person also develops relationships with children and parents within the Family Ministry which fosters discipleship and creates a safe environment which allows children to explore God establishes an open relationship in which to continue ministry with
the family as a whole.
The Student and Children Pastor: sets and implements teaching schedule each semester. Teaching is to be done utilizing Orange's XP3 curriculum as well as teaching through books of the Bible. He creates and edits all weekly teaching lessons and small group
activities for Student Ministry and Rethink. He also supervises all curriculum used for students.
Within the Student Ministry area of the Family Ministry, leads all weekly services which can include, but is not limited to: teaching, worship, tech needs, greeting families, registration, small groups, discipline, set up and break down, volunteer briefing
and assistance. Worship Coordination and leading when needed
He assists the Executive Family Minister with volunteer recruitment, processing, training, scheduling, supervision, appreciation, follow up and discipline.
He is responsible for any special events and the Summer trip for Students. Trip location and expenditures are subject to the approval of the Executive Family Minister.
He also teaches and leads within other areas of the Family Ministry, which include: Little Mosaics, Mosaic Kids and the Main Service when called upon.
Once ordained, this person is also expected to take part in pastoral duties such as baptism, weddings, funnerals and pastoral care.
Experience serving with students and children required. Must believe and agree to the doctural beliefs of Mosaic Church. Ability to lead worship ideal. Must be able to drive a 18 passenger van.
Salary is based on experience and is comparable to community in which we live and work.
