The Video and Motion Graphics Producer/Editor creates innovative, compelling, original media content (video, motion graphics and other tools) to support weekend services, special projects and large-community events.  In addition, he/she recruits and partners with volunteers, contract personnel, and interns to achieve this goal.




Create Media Content for Weekend Services and Community and Ministry Events

  • Produce video, motion graphics and 2D and 3D animated content for Sunday services and other events
  • Responsible for the timely editing, encoding and delivery of video footage from a wide variety of sources to a wide variety of formats
  • Collaborate and work closely with the Creative Content Team to generate world-class creative videos
  • Take requested video projects from development to finished product including pre-production, scripting, budgeting, casting, hiring, locations, logistics, schedules, permissions, production, post-production and editing
  • Provide quality control and counsel for departmental video projects as requested


Serve as a Creative Programming Team Member

  • Partner with the Creative Director to create powerful creative elements and high impact media projects for weekend and special services
  • Participate in creative sessions as assigned
  • Research and suggest creative ideas and approaches (for videos, motion graphics, illustrations, series branding and promotion, in-service ministry highlights, and other church communication priorities)
  • Eagerly contribute artistically at each point in the team production process


Recruit and Lead a Highly Effective Volunteer Team 

  • Build a culture defined by love and unity 
  • Lead, direct and develop volunteers to conceive and execute needed media projects 
  • Consistently increase the quality, effectiveness, and creativity of the team
  • Provide coaching and feedback for continuous improvement


Partner with Director of Live Video to Execute the Smooth Playback of Media Content

  • Become proficient with the media playback systems
  • Assist the Director of Live Video with loading and playback of finished video files


Manage and Maintain Creative Video Equipment

  • Manage video production equipment and inventory
  • Perform regular maintenance of equipment
  • Train volunteers on the proper use, maintenance and care of the equipment
  • Identify and recommend new equipment as needs arise


Make Video Production Budget Recommendations and Track Expenses

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Ability to produce, direct, shoot, edit and “turn-key” video projects
  • Maintain high video standards under deadline pressure
  • Demonstrated proficiency in industry hardware and software for video editing, animation and graphics including Adobe Creative Suite: Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator and Photoshop, Media Encoder, and Cinema 4D and other 3D programs
  • Must demonstrate sophisticated aesthetic, technical skill, and knowledge of current media trends
  • Experience with digital post-production, various video formats and transcoding, encoding, and authoring for distribution.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with digital cinematography and EFP equipment and concepts
  • Demonstrated proficiency with field audio and lighting equipment and concepts
