Job Description:

Resurrection Downtown is a vibrant Christian community in the heart of the city striving to reach non-religious and nominally religious people, and make them deeply committed Christians.The Director of Children's Ministry for Resurrection Downtown will provide leadership, vision, overall program development, and direction to volunteers committed to discipling and shepherding children ages birth to fifth grade to know, love and follow Jesus Christ.  Additional responsibilities will include providing children with opportunities for fellowship, evangelism, discipleship, worship, and mission; ensuring safety/security procedures are established and followed; facilitating communications with volunteers, congregants, other ministries/campuses, and the community; plus recruiting, training, and overseeing staff and volunteers.  Successful candidates will have experience in and knowledge of child development and education; excellent organization and management skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, and skills to be an effective program builder.  Preferred candidates will have a degree in teaching or early childhood development or equivalent related experience.  To submit your cover letter and resume, please visit this site: https://home2.eease.adp.com/recruit2/?id=17579342&t=1
