Job Description:

Glasgow Evangelical Church is looking for a youth pastor with a minimum of one year post-high school biblical background in Bible College; close walk with God; a servant leader; ability to communicate God’s Word effectively; proven leadership and administrative qualities; organization; ability to work through problems; ability to relate well to a youth and parents; self-motivated and the ability to work without close supervision; flexibility to changes in procedures and/or direction. 


The vision of Glasgow Evangelical Church is to make disciples of Jesus by helping each other grow to be the best followers of Jesus we can be.  This will result in stronger individuals, who in turn produce stronger families, communities, nation, and churches. Our Mission is to Love God, Love Others, and Share Jesus. We are a part of the Western Conference of the Evangelical Church which  currently consists of twenty-eight churches, with an average weekend attendance of 10,000+ located in Montana, North Dakota and Wyoming.


Glasgow is a city in and the county seat of Valley County, Montana with a population of about 3,250 people.  Glasgow a part of the Montana Hi-Line, a region that symbolizes what Eastern Montana is all about – rolling prairie, endless fields of wheat, large herds of cattle, all tucked under the beautiful “Big Sky” that Montana is singularly famous for. The major economy of Valley County is agriculture, including small grains, cattle, pulse crops, and hay. Located only 20 miles from the largest lake in Montana, Fort Peck Dam.
