Since its start in October 1997, Hope Church has experienced considerable growth and is currently one of the fastest growing churches in the Richmond area. In 2008, Hope Church had close to 375 people attending its weekly services, but it has now grown to over 2,500. Its current church facilities sit on 37 acres alongside one of the heaviest traffic arteries of the city, which has positioned the church well to impact thousands each week with community care and support ministries that are unlike any other church in their area.


Hope Church’s mission is to ‘offer experiences, relationships, and places where people can find life and purpose through Jesus Christ.’ As a member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, Hope Church has a vision of being a ‘catalytic church’ that will offer the Gospel of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible, and as ‘creatively as necessary.’ With a staff and workplace environment that is authentic, results oriented and always operates within grace and truth, Hope Church is an indeed an incredible place for leaders who are passionate about making a lasting impact for the cause of Christ!


Hope Church is seeking an Executive Director who will advance the mission of Hope Church by providing senior leadership and oversight in executive, tactical, and organizational areas. The successful candidate will provide executive level leadership for the managerial, functional, and tactical implementation of Hope Church’s mission. a successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree, while an MBA or Masters degree is preferred. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of growing a ministry in a community setting that has interactions with people from multi-generational backgrounds and economic statuses. The candidate will have at least five years of professional, executive experience in a church of 2,000 attendees or more.
