Education: A graduate of recognized college or university. A seminary graduate is preferred, not required.
Experience: The candidate must show sufficient expertise and passion in the spiritual development of young people. Experience in youth ministry is preferred.
Skills and Abilities: Highly relational with an ability to love, develop, train, and work with young people and parents.
Responsible for leading, coordinating and coaching a team of volunteers who serve to minister to 6th grade through High School students and their families, through programs, relationships, retreats, service projects and trips.
Envision and design youth gatherings and events that create environments to which teens are attracted.
Establish and oversee a plan for intentional networking, contacting, and outreaching that evangelizes un-churched youth, assimilates new youth, and retains currently involved youth.
Share in developing the overall church vision, carrying-out plans to achieve that vision, and providing pastoral care for the church body as a whole.
The Associate Pastor - Youth will also have the opportunity to preach regularly at the discretion of the Senior Pastor.

Compensation:35-45k plus benefits
