JOB TITLE: Ministry Resident


COMPENSATION: Volunteer Residency


OVERALL JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE: A ministry resident will serve, from January-September 2016, on one of three different departments at Grace Church. Those departments are Worship Leadership, graceKIDS!, or Pastoral Leadership/Church Planting. They will gain a full understanding of how each of these teams operate within Grace Church.


Grace is a multi-campus church, that is continually planting new campuses in Central Florida. The purpose of these internships is to provide individuals with ministry experience in a fast-paced, Gospel-centered, church planting environment, with the intent of implementing them into future campuses at Grace.

Duties & Responsibilities for each Department:

1.  Administrative Tasks

2.  Curriculum Prep

  1. Help unpack and put together curriculum

  2. Assist in shopping

  3. Assist in monthly organization of supplies

  4. Gathering supplies or materials


3.  Sunday Morning

  1. Be at the church office by 7:50am

  2. Help load and unload cars

  3. Setting supplies in classrooms and on desks

  4. Check to be sure classrooms are set up and supplies are in place

  5. Scheduled visits of all areas (Early Childhood, Elementary, Elementary Large Group, Guest Services)

  6. Break down classrooms – gather supplies that need to go back to the office or put away.

  7. Teaching throughout children’s ministry
