“Transformed Lives, Period!” These aren’t just words—you will find commitment to this mission expressed in scores of ways through every ministry of Mission Hills Church. Mission Hills is a vibrant church located at the base of the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Littleton, Colorado, a suburb of Denver. Every weekend, over 4,000 people attend one of their four services. Mission Hills believes that a full life in Jesus begins with transformation, a life fully committed to Him. Whether it’s freedom from depression and anger, a broken relationship restored, a commitment to prayer and generosity, or overcoming an addiction, transformation is the natural result of living a life in obedience to Jesus.

MHC is in a great place of health. Pastor Mike Romberger has led the church effectively for more than 13 years and is leaving it in a solid position as he pursues another call. The location, finances, growth, mission, facilities, and staff culture are all reasons to make this a very attractive place for any interested candidate. MHC is affiliated with Converge Worldwide, “A movement of churches working together to start and strengthen more churches.”

Mission Hills Church is seeking a Senior Pastor that should be a man of God who can masterfully communicate the word of God with the transforming power of Jesus Christ. From the pulpit, he should teach the Bible with clarity, pastor the congregation with love, and cast an inspiring vision for the future. He should be a collaborative leader, leaning on and working alongside the high capacity lay and staff leaders around him.

The successful candidate will possess a Seminary degree, with a minimum of M.Div. or M.Th. In addition to the degree, the successful candidate will have 10+ years of church leadership experience with relevant experience at a large church (2000+) preferred. Multi-site church ministry experience is a plus. The successful candidate will be a dynamic communicator who can connect with mature believers as well as guests with little church background, a skilled expository Bible teacher with deep Biblical knowledge and the ability to communicate that knowledge in practical and approachable ways and a developer of people with a track record of developing effective ministry leaders.
