Job Description:

In 1998, God put a dream in David Stine's heart to plant a life-giving, multicultural church in our nation's capital that would be influential in building a God-first culture throughout the DC Metro area. For the next nine years, David and his wife, Taryn, continued to pray and seek God's timing for this dream. In the summer of 2007, David and Taryn knew the time had come, so they packed their bags and moved across the country to Alexandria, Virginia, with seventeen individuals to embark upon the adventure of their lives. On September 9, 2007, DC Metro Church launched under the covering of the Association of Related Churches, and the dream that Pastor David and Taryn had been stewarding in prayer for the previous nine years became a reality. Today, DC Metro Church has grown to over 2,500 attendees on the weekend among two locations in Alexandria and Fairfax, Virginia. DC Metro's mission is to build a God-first, multicultural church, meeting in multiple locations, that influences the culture one person at a time.
