Ministry Description

White River Christian Church exists to connect EVERY LIFE to JESUS.  The responsibilities of the Technical Arts Director are to oversee all technical aspects of production for all worship areas, lead, develop and organize volunteers, assist with communicating the mission/vision of WRCC and it’s ministries.


Oversee all technical aspects of production for worship in all ministries and venues of WRCC

  • Oversee the coordination and the quality of audio, visual, lighting, staging and set design of all worship services throughout the building, special events, and at offsite venues.

  • Oversee and maintain the technical equipment and equipment preparation for all worship ministries.


Lead, develop and organize volunteers

  • Establish relationships with technical arts volunteers through effective communication methods ensuring that volunteers are placing family first when meeting the pace/needs of the ministry.

  • Create a lead team

  • Schedule technical team volunteers one month in advance through Planning Center for worship services in the WC, Cafe,and Chapel,while continually raising up new team members.


Assist with communicating the mission/vision of WRCC and it’s ministries

  • Create slides and manage displays throughout the facility

  • Create videos to promote and present mission/vision as well as ministries

  • Weekly update the WRCC website with sermon audio and Vimeo site with video

  • Populate current worship service in ProPresenter and update needed content.


Job Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: Some college education

  • Minimum Experience: One Year

  • Preferred Education: Bachelors Degree

  • Preferred Experience: 3 Years in a Church setting

  • Cost Consciousness - Works within approved budget; Develops and implements cost saving measures; Conserves Church resources.


This individual will be devoted to Jesus Christ and will daily commit to growing their relationship with Him.  They will be submissive to the Elders of White River Christian Church.
