Student Ministries Pastor


Victory Highway Wesleyan Church, a growing, vibrant congregation of 1500+ in Upstate New York, is seeking a full-time Student Ministry Pastor to lead a student ministry of more than 200 teens and 70+ volunteers toward fulfilling our vision of proclaiming the life-changing power of Jesus Christ and making fully devoted followers of him.  This person will manage and supervise Student Ministries’ staff; will oversee and be accountable for all programs and activities, as well as, be strategic in communicating the vision for the complete scope and ministry of Middle and High School students. This person should have a heart for family-based ministry and for seeing students discover the life-changing power of Jesus Christ and becoming fully devoted followers of Him.

 

Minimum requirements include a strong, dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ; a theological perspective that is Wesleyan Arminian; strategic thinking with the ability to manage, mobilize and motivate people and a strong desire to serve as a team player with other staff and ministry leaders. Also preferred two years’ experience in a larger (100+) student and/or young adult environment.
