Job Description:

In 1983, 23 people stepped out in faith, sacrificed financially, and officially launched Grace Community Church (GCC). Years later, 110 people sacrificed to purchase 30 acres of land in Washingtonville to build the first phase of GCC. Under the leadership of two lead pastors since its founding, GCC has grown to over 2,400 in attendance, and in the last 30 months, it has started three new campuses in Newburgh, Middletown, and Warwick. And it is all taking place in what many in the church world believe is one of the most un-churched regions of America – the Northeast.

The Newburgh Campus is becoming known in the community for reaching families and individuals and equipping them with a Biblical understanding and worldview. The campus averages 400 people on Sunday mornings and includes traditional families, single-parent families, singles, and seniors. The attendance reflects the diverse community, and the church consistently draws visitors and new attendees from its surrounding community because of its intentional way of reaching out into the world for the sake of Christ.

GCC is seeking a Campus Pastor to be the spiritual and directional leader for its Newburgh Campus. The Campus Pastor serves under the authority of the Executive Pastor and is the lead site pastor, providing leadership, ministry, oversight, and accountability for the campus’ facilities, congregants, staff, and volunteers. The Campus Pastor will also implement tactical directives of the Executive Pastor in unison with the vision of Grace Community Church. This person will serve in significant church-wide role(s), as needed, to lead in ministry and/or operational efforts.

The successful candidate will have a track record of spiritual maturity and character consistent with the Biblical requirements for pastoral leadership. They will possess full-time experience in a leadership role at a large church with a track record of leading teams through healthy ministry growth and progress. Beyond that, the candidate should deeply resonate and agree with the mission, vision, values, and doctrinal statement of Grace Community Church.
