To assist the Media department of Parkway Fellowship, including, but not limited to, I.T. and Media Project Management.



  • Growing relationship with Christ and commitment to spiritual disciplines of tithing, regular reading of God’s Word, prayer, and accountability with other Christ-followers, as well as a commitment to the Local Church
  • Ministry experience preferred
  • Flexible team player with self-motivated, positive attitude
  • Professional I.T. experience or degree in I.T./Computer Science related field
  • Experience in a cross-platform network environment (Apple/Windows)
  • Experience with Apple OS X, OS X Server, Microsoft Windows 7 & 8, Exchange Server, Kerio Connect, Kerio Control, Sonicwall, CrashplanPROe Backup Software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office for Windows & Mac, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Docs
  • Understanding of I.T. industry standards and best practices
  • Ability to plan ahead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, but also adapt to change in a fast-paced, high-output, multi-location environment
  • Extremely high attention to detail, proficient proofreading skills
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary to Katy, TX area, and be (or become) member of Parkway Fellowship

This Associate Media Pastor’s primary responsibilities will include direct oversight and management of our I.T. network operations and end-user support for all current and future campuses of Parkway Fellowship. Additional responsibilities will include providing project management support to the Media Department, as well as providing Sunday morning technical support for all ministries at the Westpark Campus, which is our broadcasting campus. This full-time ministry position will work in Central Support and report to the Media Pastor. This is a new position created to accommodate organizational growth.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

General I.T. Tasks

  • Receive & Respond to Help Desk Tickets from staff
  • Manage Kerio Mail Server Maintenance/Repair/Updates
  • Manage OS X File Sharing Server Maintenance/Repair/Updates
  • Manage CrashplanPROe Backups
  • Provide User Station Maintenance/Repair/Updates
  • New Hire Setup
  • Printer Maintenance/Repair/Updates
  • Check-in Server Maintenance/Repair/Updates (Exchange)
  • Check-in Stations Maintenance/Repair/Updates (Windows)
  • Manage all Web Server/Hosting/Domains/Databases
  • Mobile Devices/MCELL Maintenance/Troubleshooting
  • Vertical MBX VOIP Phone System
  • Manage Sonicwall Firewall/Remote Access for staff
  • Maintain relationships with ISP’s and troubleshoot as needed
  • Manage Wi-Fi Access Points
  • Manage Software Licenses and purchasing budget


Additional Tasks

  • Provide technical support to all ministries at our Westpark Campus on Sunday mornings
  • Check-in Stations
  • Network management for Check-in Stations and Video Broadcast Stream System
  • Data Entry Stations for collection of guest data in a timely manner
  • Kids Ministry paging system
  • Media/Tech support for Kids/Student ministries
  • Facility support as needed
  • Media Department Project Management & Print Production
  • Work with Media Dept. to manage production schedules and deadlines
  • Manage In-House print production/distribution of promotional print items
  • Manage Print Ad Schedules & Press Release contacts/distribution
  • Provide/deploy creative solutions to accommodate continued growth as a church
  • Build/deploy volunteer teams where appropriate and beneficial for the organization
  • Maintain good working relationships with vendors/service providers
  • Provide additional support to other staff/congregation as needed
  • Provide additional support to other Media Department staff from time to time



This role will primarily work from our Central Offices Monday-Thursday with Sunday responsibilities at our Westpark Campus. Some on-call hours will also be required.
