Northside Christian Church (NCC) is looking for an energetic, engaging person in our pursuit to glorify the name of Jesus. This role will be instrumental in the development of creative media concepts to connect people to Christ and community. We are looking for a talented video coordinator with solid organizational ability, a creative eye, technical knowledge and a desire to see the body of Christ grow in a new and fresh way. 

 

NCC is a growing community of believers with an average weekend attendance of over 5000 people. We are an independent Christian Church that is an Elder protected, Staff led fellowship in New Albany, Indiana, 10 minutes from metro Louisville.  The successful candidate will be a member of the NCC community.

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:


The Video Coordinator will oversee all video production in support of message support (bumpers, testimony videos, creative elements, etc.) and will provide video support as requested by other ministries church wide.  This artist needs a creative, imaginative aptitude and awareness of current trends in the video production style and equipment, thorough knowledge of current editing software, and an understanding of lead times and production capabilities. The successful candidate will be a self-starter that can bring creative ideas to the table while working under specific direction.  This role will report to the Creative Arts Director.

 

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Produce visual solutions developed to the specific needs of ministry

• Produce video elements for services, including testimony videos, message bumpers, creative  

   message support and event promos
• Work with the other graphic design members of the Communications team in graphic integration

   with video elements

• Interact with Department heads with ministry specific video projects

• Maintain video equipment and stay up to date with new software and video equipment
• Manage multi-tasking needs on several projects at the same time

• Able to take direction and work well in a team atmosphere

• Work a flexible schedule that can include evening and weekend hours based on the project




PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• a desire to continuously learn and serve others

• Proficient with current video software (Premier, Final Cut, After Effects, etc.)

• Proficient with current video and audio equipment (DSLR/HD cameras, Zoom H4N, lighting)

• Honest and trustworthy
• Integrity for work habits and results
• Appreciation for own and other’s giftedness
• On-going desire and effort to grow more Christ-like in character
• High degree of professionalism
• A team player who works well with others

• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and finish work within deadline
• Strong attention to detail

 

 

 

EDUCATION:


• BA in video production, media or related field / equivalent experience

• 2+ years? of full-time video production/Communications experience in a large Church setting
• On-line portfolio of past projects including what work was completed on projects by applicant
