In 1964, Grace Community Church (GCC) was born out of the desire of a few families to passionately learn and apply the Bible to everyday life. They first met in a home where the Bible was preached, and as time passed, more people began to attend. The church began a Christian school in 1973, which was dedicated to expanding the kingdom of God through educating and equipping children. By 2004, the church launched new campuses to reach communities in East Texas including two church plants that currently operate as independent churches in the area. Senior Pastor Doug Clark joined the staff to lead the congregation at that time. Today, Grace Community Church continues to be a growing, non-denominational, multi-site church in East Texas with an average combined weekend attendance of approximately 2500.

The Spanish Campus Pastor will provide catalytic leadership, teaching, and vision for the Spanish community of Grace Community Church. This position requires a self-starter with strong leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, the ability to connect cross-culturally, and the ability to cast vision effectively. The new Spanish Campus Pastor must be bilingual and have a heart to create and grow a new ministry within the context of the vision of GCC.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record as an innovative leader in missions, outreach, and/or community service. Ideally, the new Spanish Campus Pastor will have served as a point leader in a large complex setting that would be relevant to the Campus Pastor role, whether within a church setting or in another comparable situation. Proven experience in team-building, vision-casting, mobilizing teams, connecting people and resources to needs, and the ability to connect cross-culturally (especially in a Hispanic setting) is strongly preferred. Experience in an economically diverse setting is strongly preferred.
