In 1964, Grace Community Church (GCC) was born out of the desire of a few families to passionately learn and apply the Bible to everyday life. They first met in a home where the Bible was preached, and as time passed, more people began to attend. The church began a Christian school in 1973, which was dedicated to expanding the kingdom of God through educating and equipping children. By 2004, the church launched new campuses to reach communities in East Texas including two church plants that currently operate as independent churches in the area. Senior Pastor Doug Clark joined the staff to lead the congregation at that time. Today, Grace Community Church continues to be a growing, non-denominational, multi-site church in East Texas with an average combined weekend attendance of approximately 2500.

The Lindale Campus Pastor at GCC serves as the catalyst, shepherd, mentor, and program leader serving the mission of God in the community of Lindale, Texas. The position exists to “help transform people into dedicated disciples of Christ wholeheartedly committed in Worship of God, fully engaged daily in the Mission of the gospel, and intimately connected in authentic community.”

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a setting committed to reaching the unreached, working within a community, and promoting innovation through collaboration. They will show a high degree of effectiveness in leadership, communication, and public speaking. Work experience in a multistaff, multi-site setting is strongly preferred.
