Position Summary

The Women’s Ministry Director reports to the Administrative Pastor, would serve as a member of the Executive Ministry Team, and is responsible for overseeing and keeping the vision for the Women’s Ministry at CFC. In carrying on the mission of CFC, it is the role of the Women’s Ministry Director to provide discipleship opportunities, connection points for women, and coach women to become “self-feeders” in their relationship with Jesus.




  • Fulfill the duties required of CFC members as outlined in membership covenant
  • Fulfill the character qualifications of a deaconess as taught in the Scriptures
  • Philosophical alignment with CFC leadership and experience with a large staff
  • Passionate about seeing women follow Jesus and learn the Scriptures.
  • Proven track record in ministry (5+ years a plus)
  • Degree in Biblical Studies and/or Women’s Ministry preferred


Knowledge and Skills

  • A strong gift of discernment and shepherding care
  • Highly relational and able to connect with women of various demographics
  • Demonstrated understanding of cultural awareness as it relates to women today
  • Strong biblical knowledge and understanding
  • Administrative abilities to organize events, studies, etc.
  • Possesses public and personal verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven success at multi-tasking, time management, and prioritizing
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality and trust
  • Ability to work with, and maintain positive, loyal relationships with those inside and outside of CFC



  • Lead and develop the Women’s Ministry of CFC to become a ministry that makes committed followers of Christ by providing discipleship opportunities, connection points for women, and coaches women to become “self-feeders” in their relationship with Jesus
  • Oversee the Women’s Ministry Team
  • Plan and promote Women’s Ministry events, studies, and other events to further mission
  • Care for and discern the needs of the women of CFC
  • Serve as a first connection point for the women of CFC who are in crisis or in need of direction
  • Create and maintain a database of women and help connect women to each other
  • Train and develop other women to coach and care for the women of CFC
  • Work alongside the Executive Ministry Team to develop a holistic approach to Women’s Ministry
  • Meet regularly with the Administrative Pastor for updates, vision, and direction
  • Attend weekly Executive Ministry Team meetings and other staff attended events
