Job Description:

An independent, non-denominational, Bible-based, Evangelical church seeking full-time pastor.


Responsibilities would include:

  • provide leadership to effect spiritual growth in our members and numerical growth in our congregation
  • present Sunday morning sermons that are scripturally-based, relevant to our present needs and inspiring to a broad segment of our congregation and community
  • to work cooperatively with the Church Council and committees assuming spiritual leadership of Church
  • Provide general pastoral services including weddings, funerals, counseling, teaching, visitations, etc.
Skills/Strengths Desired:  Biblical Preaching, Evangelism & Discipleship, Counseling
Age Range Desired:  35-45

Experience Required
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degree from a Bible College, Theological Seminary a plus

The current salary and benefit package provides an acceptable living allowance for the surrounding area.

Our church is an independent, non-denominational, Bible-based, evangelical church located in the city of Connellsville.  Connellsville is a small city, located in Southwestern Pennsylvania along the banks of the Youghiogheny River.  Connellsville is located in the middle of the 150-mile Great Allegheny Passage walking/biking trail.  Our city is 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.  

We are seeking someone who will inspire our congregation to become the church that God wants it to be.
