Job Description:

Velocity Church is looking for a teaching pastor to join the staff of our growing, soon to be multi-site church. The successful candidate will enjoy challenge, thrive in a fast-paced, multi-cultural church and will want to take over the world! We're especially looking for someone who loves discipleship and helping people grow in their faith. It would be ideal if they also love creativity and bring a creative element to the preaching process.

The candidate must understand and relate to non-Christians. We're not looking for a superstar, we're looking for a servant, ready to jump in and help wherever needed. They would mostly serve at one campus, but could share some preaching duties at both campuses. A large portion of their job will be preaching so they should have a few years experience consistently preaching. More than anything, Velocity loves children and people who feel far from God. So, if you don't love kids, or lost people, then you probably won't like working for Velocity.

If you've been speaking to youth as a youth pastor for the last 5-7 years and developed a kick-butt student ministry and are looking to challenge yourself by taking your game to the next level and moving to a teaching position for adults, maybe this job is for you.

Please send your resume along with 2 of your most recent sermons to david@velocitycleveland.org
