The church is averaging 3,000 people per week in 4 weekend services, with a base of more than 1,000 children.

The Senior Pastor, Erik Lawson, has a tremendous heart and vision for Family Ministry. Prior to founding Element Church, he served as Youth Pastor to the nationally acclaimed youth ministry, Oneighty, the nation’s largest local church youth ministry, reaching more than 2,500 students each week.

The eKids Pastor will be responsible for overseeing the growth, development, and execution of the children’s ministry at Element Church. This individual will always be looking for innovative and exciting new ways to reach, not only children, but also their families. The eKids Pastor will communicate the culture and DNA of the church into the next generation, preparing them to lead and creating a unified ministry operated in sync with what is happening church-wide.

Element Church is a fast-growing community and the weekly eKids Ministry services will be a time to creatively reach the lost and develop the children and families in the church.

The effective eKids Ministry Pastor will creatively design children’s programming, with the main focus of curriculum preparation, volunteer recruiting and coordination and partnering with families to meet their children’s needs, as well as building systems to address and promote growth. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three to five years of pastoral leadership experience in a large-church setting in a children’s ministry role. They will have demonstrated the ability to recruit, train, and empower other leaders, bring creative passion and ideas for reaching families, and have a strong desire to implement successful ministry initiatives.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a large-church setting and be committed to a high degree of innovation, recruitment, and retention of new members. A strong emphasis will be placed on practical ministry experience, and internships or apprenticeships may be accepted in place of formal education. Proven experience in creative thinking and problem solving is required. Successful work history in communication and leadership is a must.

Additionally, at the pace Element Church is growing, it is imperative for this candidate to have a high degree of effectiveness in developing and implementing systems and strategies. The successful candidate will have the ability to make a plan and see it through to completion. In sum, the successful candidate will be ready to take the lead and responsibility for the eKids Ministry under the direction of the Family Ministries Pastor from day one.
