In twelve short years, newhope church has gone from consisting of Pastor Benji, Amy Lynn, and their three children, to a movement that is sweeping across the Carolinas and beyond. Since newhopewas founded in 2002, it has seen continual growth. In the church’s short time of existence, newhope has grown to be a community of faith well over 6,000 people who regularly attend one of five Worship Celebrations.

 

With campuses in Durham, Garner, Sanford, Columbia, North Raleigh, and Kenya, as well as thriving women's prison, Internet, and Sunday morning Television Ministry outreaches, newhope church has been named, year after year, as one of the fastest growing churches in America by Outreach Magazine. Newhope is well known for its relevant Biblical teaching, upbeat-contemporary worship, missional outreach, Life Group gatherings in homes, excellent children’s programs, and high impact student ministries. 

 

The Campus Pastor serves as the spiritual and directional point person for a specific campus location. The Campus Pastor will execute the strategy, values, and vision of the Executive Leadership of newhopechurch within the context of the local congregation. He/She will act as shepherd for the congregation and will oversee the physical and logistical aspects of the campus location. The pastor will ensure the vitality of community and discipleship connections.

 

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working in a setting committed to reaching the unreached, working within a community and promoting innovation through collaboration. They will show a high degree of effectiveness in leadership, communication, public speaking, and worship planning. Work in a multistaff, multi-site setting is strongly preferred. In addition, the individual should show an ability to connect across all generations, ethnicities, and socio-economic lines.
