Position:                     South Bay Campus Students Director

Position Summary

This staff member is responsible for leading a team of volunteers in shepherding the lives of both Middle School and High School Students at the South Bay Campus.  The goal of this position is to design and implement an effective ministry strategy to reach, disciple, and grow Middle School and High School students in their relationship to Christ. This position will also encourage and partner with parents to help students pursue a vibrant relationship with Jesus through spiritually formative experiences and fun and engaging group environments.




  • Build and lead a dynamic, growing student ministry
  • Develop messages, programs, service events, and/or learning opportunities for Middle School and High School groups and gatherings, to include Sunday mornings, midweek life groups, and student events
  • Connect with Students and their families outside of scheduled programs 
  • Develop and Disciple students through intentional relationships and shared experiences
  • Develop and empower Student Leadership Teams for MS and HS to serve in ministry
  • Recruit, manage, and develop a team of Student Ministry volunteers that lead and mentor students on the weekends, in mid-week life groups, and during strategic events and programs throughout the year  Assist with teaching and leading    
  • Participate fully in all South Bay Campus team and leadership meetings speaking into and supporting all areas of ministry

  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelor of Arts
  • Must have experience in discipleship and spiritual development of children
  • Must have experience in building and managing volunteer teams
  • Strong believer in Jesus Christ with a passion for students
  • Personal humility and a heart to serve



Work Schedule

This position is Full-Time at approximately 40 hours per week and requires working on Sunday mornings and evenings, some weekday evenings and major holidays (Christmas/Easter)
