Job Description:

Executive Director of a youth campus ministry.

Campus Way is a nonprofit youth ministry that disciples students to be followers of Christ and to live out His mission to reach their campus now, and their community for a lifetime. This is accomplished through establishing campus clubs at schools, having weekly meetings for students, and hosting retreats and camps throughout the year.  Campus Way hosts 5 campus meetings and serves about 100 students weekly. Yearly, Campus Way ministers to hundreds of students in the Waukesha Country area. The Campus Way currently has 2 full-time staff and 3 part-time ministry staff.

Campus Way is in the process of launching a new Church-Partnership Strategy and is looking for an Executive Director to both lead the local ministry and pioneer the new national church partnership scope.  The vision of the new scope is to train youth leaders at primarily smaller churches throughout the country on how their teens, their community and church could benefit from launching a community/school based youth ministry, Campus Way.  In this way they can grow their youth ministry, reach more teens, and also help grow their church.  This portion of our ministry would recruit and train church leaders remotely on how to develop the Campus Way in their community.  We have seen this work effectively in our region and now want to multiply that effort.  The current executive director is going to remain on for a seaon to train the new director and then perhaps part time for a season to insure a good transition and perhaps long term in some supportive capacity perhaps on the board of directors.

Key Qualifications:

-       Christian who supports Campus Way's mission and vision

-       Strategic planning skills

-       Event planning

-       Funding development and good networking with donors.

-       Administrative tasks

-       Ability to work and seek solutions independently

-       Spritual leadership of ministry and staff

Other helpful experiences and skills not required but helpful.  Where a candidate may not have these skills a part time position may be developed to hire an additioanl person to meet these needs.

-      Grant writing

-      Nonprofit management

-      Basic accounting

-      Volunteer management

-      Marketing (including the creation of recruitment and training videos)

-      Website and social media management

Salary: Salary is planned in the range of $50,000-$80,000.  Salary will have a base and will also have an incentive based on funding.

There is a possibility for a small role with a local church that shares the same facility with Campus Way. The current executive director is the pastor also of Brandybrook Christian Church and will be spending more time investing into it with this transition.
