Shared Services Director, CFO: The Controller/Accounting Team Manager reports directly to the Shared Services Director, and he/she is expected to be coachable, available, and responsive to his/her supervisor while striving for a healthy Christ-like relationship
characterized by love, truth, unity, and collaboration. He/she will work closely with the SSD/CFO in all financial strategies, forecasting, and decision making.
Accounting Staff and Volunteers: The Controller/Accounting Team Manager will manage the Accounting staff and volunteer teams, providing leadership, development, and support to the teams to achieve maximum kingdom impact and operational excellence.
Department Supervisors: The Controller/Accounting Team Manager should embody and exhibit servant leadership in all interactions with Department Supervisors, providing them timely communication and support and educating and enabling them to appropriately
manage their approved budget.
Shared Services Leadership Team: The Controller/Accounting Team Manager will be a member of the Shared Services Leadership Team, working across departments for the support of ministry execution.
Organizational Development Director: The ODD is responsible for ensuring all human resources across CHCC and CHCS are in alignment with the character, competence, chemistry, and culture expected of staff. All hiring and training of staff are done in conjunction
with the ODD, and the Controller/Accounting Manager is expected to seek full consensus and teamwork with the ODD in human resourcing decisions and training. Furthermore, the ODD is mindful of all cross-departmental systems affecting our team working culture.
The process for budgeting and communication between accounting and managers will be an important area for teamwork and collaboration.
