The Director of High School Ministry works under the supervision of the Pastor of Student Ministries and is responsible for implementing and executing the ministry of students in grades 9-12. Even though the primary responsibilities are within the High School
Ministry, the Director of High School Ministry will be involved in the overall body of Christ at Calvary, and is encouraged to be involved with the Middle School Department to build relationships with rising 9th graders as well as well as assisting
to transition high school graduates to the College Ministry.
Responsibilities include scheduling, planning, promoting all major high school events and services, while working with church staff and lay leaders and teachers. This person will recruit, train and place volunteers in the roles which best suit their gifts
and passions in the ministry. Event planning and administration as well as relationship building will be vital components for this position.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine call to youth ministry, is currently in seminary or has plans to do so in the near future, and has a proven track record of service in ministry.
This position is full time with benefits (32+ hours/week).
