Job Description:

Woodlands Church desires to be a bridge for internationals of all nations, tribes & tongues.  This position will initiate and develop connection & growth opportunities for the international constituency already attending Woodlands Church, as well as create avenues any of the Woodlands Church constituency can effectively impact those far from, even hostile to God.


General Responsibilities

  • Lead and serve as part of the Local to Global Missions team, with events, classes, and training;
  • Develop leaders and teams who can participate in reaching our target communities;
  • Assist in developing and managing Annual Missions master calendar;
  • Lead and develop a growing Woodlands Church initiative with and to those whose first language is Español, including but not limited to worship, groups, care, missions, and community impact;
  • Represent the church as a liaison with local agencies, ministries, business leaders, as well as internal groups;
  • Lead domestic and/or international trips as needed (approximately 1-2 per year)
  • Build international systems and strategies to establish and develop relationship opportunities for service and evangelism for any nation, tribe or tongue beyond the United States.



Education/Skill/Experience Requirements

Fluent in both English and Spanish is essential
Hands-on International Missions experience required
Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters Degree preferred
Strong people/relational team building skills, including a strong customer service mindset
Proven ability to adapt and anticipate ministry needs in flexible environment
Proven ability to coordinate and problem solve multiple projects
Solid organization/administrative abilities, including strong written and verbal skills
Proficient computer skills (database, word processing, web savvy)
