Ministry Area:   Marketing and Communication Director


We're looking for a talented, culturally saavy team buider to help us take our look and feel to the next level both online and in print. Are you good with people? A natural connector online? Skilled in graphic design and social media? This ministry position could be right for you. 35K, 35ish hr, great staff team...this is a fantastic starter job for someone looking to get their feet wet in marketing and communication ministry! 





The Marketing and Communication Director at Crossroads is a critical leadership position, overseeing a team of volunteers and contract labor staff to produce fresh, engaging, informative content, both online and in print. The Marketing and Communication Director will develop and oversee:


Website and social media (with webmaster)

Graphic Design (with graphic designer)



Print materials


Emphasis will be given to developing volunteer teams and leadership as well as select contract labor to meet the demands of the position.


Primary Duties




  1. Build, equip and lead the Marketing and Communication team

  2. Guide the development and effectiveness of the website and social media platforms

  3. Deliver fresh, relevant content across all communication and marketing platforms

  4. Designs and produces weekly program; special event graphics/print materials

  5. Develops series art in collaboration with the creative arts team

  6. Meets with Ministry leaders to develop and support their individual efforts while helping keep a strategic focus on the churches overall mission and vision

  7. Member of the Planning Team

  8. Leadership in all strategic marketing initiatives

  9. Provide design direction and assistance to video team as needed

  10. Manage the Livestream page


Primary Roles

  2. Cast a compelling vision for Marketing and Communication teams (aligned with the overall vision of Crossroads)

  3. Coach- invites, mentors, trains and resources servants and leaders.

  4. Catalyst- instigates new ways of spreading the word about Jesus and Crossroads

  5. Administrator- manages volunteer teams in Marketing and Communications and oversees contract labor staff.


Position Requirements




  1. Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or Marketing preferred

  2. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop)

  3. Adequate skills with Microsoft office

  4. 3-4 year experience in graphic design

  5. Team oriented

  6. Good communicator

  7. Able to keep reasonable office hours
