Job Description:

If you love kids and can bring out the best in volunteers, you can help lead our children’s ministry (birth-5th Grade). You will manage all Kensington Kids ministry functions for Kensington's Orlando Campus. Kensington's Orlando Campus is our first "national campus" which opened in the fall of 2010. Kensington Orlando, with an average weekly attendance of 350, meets on the amazing campus of Windermere Preparatory School. Our mission at Kensington is to turn people who think God is irrelevant into fully devoted followers of Christ through high-impact churches. Currently, about 13,500 people attend on weekends at five campuses both in Metro Detroit, MI and Orlando, FL


The Kensington Kids Director will be responsible for developing, supporting, directing and shepherding our Nursery, Early Childhood and Elementary teams for the weekend service. This person must show a strong commitment to living out Kensington’s values of Love, Lock and Live in their Christian life. Possess characteristics that include:  humility, teachability, organization, teamwork, discernment, wisdom and strategic agility.  Must work extremely well with others. Undergraduate degree preferred. Demonstrated abiltiy to build and lead teams, cast vision, recruit and deploy leaders, and communicate to children grace and truth in one-on-one relationships and in a group. Proven experience leading children's ministry in a local church or para-church organization. Must affirm the mission, vision and values of Kensington Church.
