Job Description:

River Hills Community Church, a fast-growing midsize interdenominational body of faith located in Lake Wylie, South Carolina, is seeking a part-time (estimated 20 hours per week) Minister of Congregational Care whose function will be to assist the Senior Pastor in nurturing the spiritual life of members and non-members within a 30-mile radius of RHCC. This position requires a passion to help others through seasons of difficulty and an enthusiasm to help them celebrate in times of joy.



Ordination in the Protestant church preferred.
College degree in theology or acceptable equivalent preferred.
Must be spiritually mature, teachable, trustworthy, humble to follow, able to lead.
Minimum of 5 years professional pastoral experience and/or professional counseling experience.
Experience in leading worship and meetings, as well as officiating at funerals and weddings.
Experience in visiting people in their homes, nursing homes or hospital environments.
Must be able to work non-standard hours to accommodate church schedule and needs (including Sundays).

Must possess organizational skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Systems required.
