Vanderbloemen Search Group is thrilled to launch its second search for Parkway Fellowship. Parkway Fellowship is a Purpose-Driven church in Katy/Richmond, Texas (West Houston) that was begun by Senior Pastor Mike McGown 11 years ago. It was launched with a vision and passion to reach the people of West Houston with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. The church met in Cinco Ranch High School until 2010 when the current land was purchased and the Westpark campus building was built. Upon moving into the new building, Parkway’s attendance doubled in two weeks. Since that time, Parkway has launched a second North campus to reach the Katy area and has been listed as one of the 100 Fastest Growing Churches in America for the past 3 years. Parkway Fellowship has an average weekend attendance of 2600 between the two campuses (2,175 at the Westpark campus; 425 at the North campus).

As Parkway Fellowship continues to grow and reach the Kingdom for Christ, they are seeking a Campus Pastor for the launch of their third campus. The Campus Pastor will be responsible for the spiritual growth and direction of their campus, including direction of the campus' Sunday services. Throughout the week, the Campus Pastor is primarily responsible for the ministry and membership systems of the campus as well as leading the staff. This also includes overseeing the stewardship system and the continual improvement, implementation, and management of the assimilation system. The successful candidate will be responsible for assimilating all new members and regular attenders into the ministry system; including the recruitment, training, leadership development, and management of all ministry teams.

It is required that the Campus Pastor have an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, and a seminary education is preferred. It is also expected that the Campus Pastor will have a minimum of five years of church staff experience at the executive level, which includes the oversight of both staff and systems, preferably in churches over 2,000. They will have proven experience building and executing effective ministry teams and strategies with community, evangelistic, and missional impact as well as a collaborative leadership style that functions well at all levels of the organization. The Campus Pastor must have read and demonstrate command of the material in Nelson Searcy’s Connect. The candidate should also be familiar with the structure and functioning of the 8 Systems of the Church according to Nelson Searcy and Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Church
