Job Description:

Our Spirit-led, charismatic church is looking for an Executive Pastor to serve in a key leadership position with the opportunity to transition into the senior pastor role.  This is a full-time position which will support the vision, mission, ministry, and core values of the church, participate in strategic planning, lead the church staff, provide general direction for the day to day operations of the church office, train and oversee the church’s lay leaders, and be part of the Sunday morning preaching/teaching rotation.


Our ideal candidate will have at least five (5) years experience as a senior pastor, executive pastor, or associate pastor, or eight (8) years experience as a youth pastor, and will possess strong leadership skills and administrative abilities. We desire a person who can teach Biblical truth in a practical, relevant way, can inspire and train leaders to reach the lost and help people grow in their walk with the Lord.

We are an independent church of about 400 people with a desire to expand our reach and impact in our local community and world.

Accompanying the letter of interest, we would like two short narrative essays (at least one page for each).  One essay should state your philosophy on ministry leadership and why you are interested in this position. The other essay should contain a brief spiritual biography or a discussion of a key discipleship or ministry influence that has helped define your spiritual life.  Feel free to include any other important information you feel describe your desire and calling to pursue this ministry opportunity.
