To serve the church by mentoring, teaching, administering, and leading middle school and high school students as well as their families. Work side by side with the existing Lifepointe staff, having one unified vision, plan, and goal for the Student ministry.

Student Pastor will nurture students toward completeness in Christ through a consistent balance of worship, relational connection, spiritual growth, and multiplication
Responsible for the administration, development and implementation of programs and policies designed to meet the needs of the youth of the Church.
Student Pastor will be responsible for day to day management of volunteer leaders, development of youth curriculum and management of annual student ministries budget.
The Student Ministries Pastor is to teach, shepherd, and provide hands-on leadership to Middle school and Senior High School students, while providing direct oversight of the Student Ministries program.
The Student Ministries Pastor must recruit, disciple, and sustain a large team of volunteer leaders, engage parents as vital partners, teach and preach to youth and leaders in small and large settings. Communicate well with parents and come along side families,
especially in times of crisis. Relate to the unique needs of teenagers.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- including but not limited to the following:
Student Ministries Pastor will have a vision for developing a place for youth to plug in and serve or be a part of a connect group
Sunday night is the time Lifepointe wants to challenge the students to be part of a Connect group. The responsibility of the Student Ministries Pastor will be to provide training and curriculum for all the Connect groups, as well as recruiting new leaders
to help serve.
Responsibilities include recruiting new adult leaders who have a passion to serve in the youth ministry as well as providing them with the training necessary for them to serve.
Responsibilities include planning out a Students calendar, which allows parents to know in advance the upcoming events. Some events may include, Middle School Camp, High School camp, and Mission Trip or service opportunities. Plan out these events and manage
all the details that are necessary for the events.
Preparing & delivering a message to the Sunday evening Students as needed. Teach the Bible by interpreting a biblical text accurately and presenting it to students in a way that they can understand and apply. Equip and encourages students to read, interpret,
and apply the Bible for themselves
Limited teaching for the “main adult Sunday am service” may be considered after 9 months evaluation
Overseeing the Student ministry & cast vision for the ministry and execute that vision.
Manage multiple groups of volunteers for each level of programs offered.
Managing Student related budgets and expenses
Prioritize and self-manage.
Coordinate camps, mission’s trips, conferences, etc., with the understanding that success is not measured by the number events that can be put on the calendar, but by changed lives.
Deliver a safe and secure environment for youth by ensuring the Student Ministry is staffed with committed and trained volunteers and volunteer leaders. Manage background investigation of all ministry volunteers to church and state standards.
Maintain Student ministry data in Church database (Church Community Builder)
Train volunteer leaders and other relevant users on appropriate use of database system.
Regularly communicate to the Students and Parents

Develop a plan for a regular program of outreach to students and their families and to promote the church’s student ministry within the communities around the church campus. Work diligently to have a presence in the local schools.
Mobilize students to reach their unbelieving friends for Christ; maintains a close relationship with and presence at surrounding schools; looks for ways students can engage their community with acts of love that show off Jesus
An employee in this position works primarily in an office environment with heating and air conditioning; Participation in ministry events may involve travel or work outside of an office environment.
