Connection Church is a healthy church of 1,400 people that has great influence and impact in the community. One phrase sums up the focus of Connection Church,  “Connecting People to God, Friends and Service,” and that’s exactly what they do.

CC has a strong weekend experience for adults with engaging modern worship, biblical expository preaching, and an atmosphere that is compelling for mature Christians and those seeking alike. Their Creative Arts Team plays a large role in the excellence of their weekend service.

CC is a church that believes in community. They have a thriving Celebrate Recovery program that rivals any other in the nation. Through CR people are being healed and delivered from addictions and growing in faith. CC has strong Life Groups, Men’s, and Women’s Ministries that are designed to foster community.

CC is a church that serves inside the church and out. CC has a healthy serving culture with 560 people in active service within the church. They also have several church outreach programs that are truly making a difference in Canton and the surrounding cities. Open Door Ministry is their food bank ministry that fed 69,779 people and distributed 1,375,813 pounds of food in 2013.

Children's Minisrty:

Connection Church wants to build the very best children's ministry possible -- One that is as exciting as Disney, as safe as the White House, and as clean as the Ritz-Carlton. Excellence is a theme of Connection Church and the desire for the Children’s Ministry “Kids Connection” is that it embodies that theme as well.

At its core, Kids Connection is an “Orange” philosophy and style of ministry with a desire to see parents leading their children spiritual with the partnership of the church. Kid’s Connection has three areas of ministry that express this philosophy: Young Life (Birth-Pre-k), Kids Connection (Grade School) and Mid-Week (All age groups).

Young Life - is currently using “Lil K” curriculum. Its preschool is set in an inviting, colorful room with a huge indoor playscape that begs to be climbed on!

Kids Connection - uses 252 Basics with a large group/small group format divided by grade. They have a large group room that is well equipped with great technology including sound, video, and lighting. Each grade has a separate classroom off of the main meeting space. Kids gather pre-service for activities, then move to the main large group area for a worship service and teaching, followed by a small group time in their small group rooms. They have a strong Kid’s Fine Arts ministry that participates in competitions in the state performing human videos, dramas and a kids worship team. They also have an active puppet ministry for kids to get involved in.

Mid-Week - Kids Connection offers Royal Rangers and Girls MPact. These are gender specific discipleship programs.

Events – Kids Connection is a flurry of activity in the summer months with an overnight summer camp, day camp and VBS. There is also great potential for amazing outreach events within the Children’s Ministry.
