Job Description:

The Assistant Director of Youth Ministry aids the Director of Youth Ministry and the Youth Committee in developing a relationship-based youth ministry that encourages all youth in our congregation, as well as our greater community, to become disciples of Jesus Christ through worship, study, service, and care for one another.


The Assistant Director of Youth Ministry will:


-- Teach High School or Middle School Sunday School classes on a weekly/regular basis

-- Assist in leading and developing Sunday night Real Life programs

-- Assist in leading and developing retreats and mission trips

-- Assist in all Confirmation training and events

-- Teach/lead Wednesday night Bible Studies as required

-- Recruit and train volunteers as required

-- Interact with students outside of regular church activities through Breakfast Club, Middle School lunches, attending sports events, recitals, etc. in order to build relationships

-- Lead various parts of Sunday worship as requested by the Ministerial Staff
