Northwest Indiana/Chicago region (currently Crown Point, Cedar Lake and Gary campuses)
Bethel Church is currently seeking a Campus Pastor to serve at the fourth campus of Bethel Church. He will be responsible for the leadership, oversight, spiritual direction and management of this multi- site location.
Bethel is a growing, non-denominational, evangelical church that is striving to exalt Jesus Christ through expository preaching, God-saturated worship, loving community, and gospel outreach. We are 45 minutes south of downtown Chicago in Northwest Indiana.
Bethel is a church of 3,000+, meeting weekly in one Saturday and five Sunday morning services.

This position requires an individual of the highest personal character and commitment to God (1 Tim. 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9). He must be a team player with a spirit of love and willingness to listen, willing to be a member of Bethel and in agreement with its
philosophy of ministry and doctrine.
Give testimony and life witness of... (1) being a committed believer in Jesus Christ (2) spiritual gifts relevant to leadership of this ministry, (3) prior pastoral experience.
Have an adequate biblical education, preferably at the college and seminary level, ministry experience that is appropriate to these responsibilities, and a continuous desire to be learning in order to become a more effective leader.
Have a sound knowledge of Scripture and an ability to teach effectively and apply Scriptural princi- ples in all areas of ministry.
Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Have a strong leadership gift and the ability to be a leader of leaders as well as experience in discipling and equipping others.
Be self-motivated and able to take a task or project through to completion. Be proficient at multi-tasking, time management, and prioritizing.
Have a proven ability to handle sensitive issues and maintain confidentiality regarding church in- formation.
Be a stable, mature and growing Christian with an exemplary personal, marital and family life (if applicable).
Be committed to teamwork with the leadership, staff and congregation of Bethel Church Be in agreement with Bethel Church’s doctrine and philosophy of ministry.
