The Spiritual Formation and Teaching Pastor is a key leadership position which includes developing followers of Jesus through small group and lay ministry. He/She will be responsible for establishing a message-based model of small groups, leading the development of core discipleship classes, and assisting the Lead Pastor in encouraging the development of spiritual formation for the congregants of Pathways Church.  In addition, this person will teach a message during weekend services as outlined in the teaching calendar10-12 times per year, identify and build a church-wide leadership development model in collaboration with the Lead Pastor that includes enlisting, training and mentoring lay ministers, and develop a strategy to empower, enlist, train, and reward volunteers at Pathways Church.


We are seeking an individual with a B.A. in biblical studies, a minimum of 7-10 years experience, prior success in building teams of disciples and exceptional public speaking and facilitating skills. Spiritual gifts of leadership, teaching, and pastoring will be most helpful for this role.
