We are looking for a new staff partner with gifts, training, and calling to direct our “Sanctuary Choir,” which is an adult choir including a mix of ages and voices. The Sanctuary Choir typically sings 2-3 times per month in our traditional services
and rehearses on a weekly basis. We also have a women’s chorale and a handbell choir that could be included in this role depending on a candidate’s gifts, interests, and availability. This choir director will work collaboratively with our pastors and other
music and worship staff and volunteers. Compensation will vary depending on the scope of the role and qualifications of the candidate.
We love Jesus, and we love people who are broken in all our different ways. We strive to share the heart of our heavenly father, who runs after all his lost children, no matter how they are lost. We believe that deep roots make good fruit, so we
value worship that is full of truth and beauty. We are grateful for the depth and power of life-giving tradition, even as we follow the Spirit in shaping our always new life of worship and prayer.
Our mission as a congregation is to be and make disciples of Jesus. Everything we do serves this great (com)mission. One of our core values says that “Jesus makes us family,” and we are an intentionally intergenerational church with both traditional
and contemporary worship commitments. We place a high value on healthy Christian community and selfless service to one another and our world. Our staff is a close knit and friendly group that works hard together and loves to play and pray together.
