Title: Information Technology Specialist
Hours:  Salaried - 40+ hr/week 
Class: V - Hourly wage or salaried employee scheduled for 40 or more hours per week on average
Supervisor: Executive Pastor, Todd Staal

Position Description: Provide support to the IT and AVL Production ministries.  Monitor and maintain equipment, and research methods of improvement to ensure department growth.  Work with Radiant Church employees to effectively execute departmental/church-wide events and programs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the direction of the IT, including networking and phone systems
  • Support AVL and Technology equipment/areas throughout church facility (Sanctuary, Foyer, Upper Room, Threshold)
  • Serve as the technical & IT adviser for all church departments / leaders
  • Research and implement new technologies, upgrades and stage equipment
  • Provide support for the installation, set up, operation, break down and maintenance of audio visual equipment used for main sanctuary and threshold services, meetings and church events
  • Point of contact, responsible for troubleshooting IT and AVL equipment issues and identifying appropriate solutions
  • Able to install, test and support IT and AVL systems
  • Oversee, in collaboration with the Executive Pastor, the finances and budgets for the IT and AVL departments
  • Other duties as assigned

Skilled technical knowledge for operating audio visual equipment, computers, presentation software, projectors, audio mixers, lighting controllers, projection screens, scaffolding and other audio visual equipment as needed 

Experience working with wired and wireless networks

  • Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed. Constantly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools
