Pastor of Students for Crossroads Community Church

Location: Austin, TX
Job Summary:

Crossroads is a diverse community that is all about Jesus.  We desire to know Him deeply and make Him known to every man, woman, and child in greater Austin.  We were planted almost 7 years ago and are now looking for a Youth Pastor to lead our small (but growing) youth ministry that has 20-30 kids on average.

Job Description:

The job would initially entail 15 hours per week -

-Developing strategic plan for reaching every student in our geography with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
-Lead and facilitate youth gatherings (Middle and High School) on Thursday nights in North Austin from 6-9pm.
-Lead monthly activities for students of a gathering/fun nature.
-Cultivate a discipleship environment for our students.
-Be on campus and invest in students at least once a week
-Develop current youth leaders.  5-7 adults volunteers are currently helping.
-Meet with staff every other week or weekly (if necessary) for 3hrs. 
-Oversee our summer neighbor clubs (once a year)
-Plan and attend a Student Life Missions Camp or something similar once a year.
