Faith Church is a God glorifying, Christ centered, Holy Spirit empowered community that
exists to proclaim hope, produce disciples, and unleash servants.
Founded in 1964, the church is celebrating its 50thanniversary this
Faith Church currently sits on a 10-acre property, in a highly visible area, filledwith all kinds of stores and restaurants. In the last four
years, FC has doubled in size to average around 2,000 in weekend attendance. The church is in a major growth phase. This spring, we are breaking ground on a $6.5 million
expansion on the campus, creating state of the art children’s and student ministry space.
The church is thriving in a great season of lives being changed in the church and throughout the community. There is a strong sense of unity throughout the staff and
volunteers. Discipleship, community, and missions are all highly valued at FC. The heart of the leadership is not to attract casual visitors with minimal impact, but
rather build disciples who seek to make an impact for Christ for the rest of their lives.
Located in Allentown, PA, three miles west of Dorney
Park, Faith Church is close in proximity to both urban cities (90 miles to NYC and 60 miles to Philadelphia) and the great outdoors.
From Allentown, you can comfortably drive to the Atlantic Ocean or the mountains. Every outdoor activity and cultural amenity is within
Faith Church is led by a dynamic senior pastor named Joe Henseler. Joe is in his mid 30’s and brings a great blend of visionary leadership, sound doctrine, and a commitment to missional
expressions of his faith. He leads through relational influence and works hard to make sure Faith stays focused on the daily activity of the Holy Spirit. Jack Wilson is the
executive pastor, and brings a great complementary leadership style to the senior leadership of the church. Jack’s wisdom and council help
keep the staff and ministry teams moving in the right direction.
Our student ministry is called LINKED and it represents grades 5-12.
We have staff people dedicated to LINKED·56 (5thand 6thgrade) and LINKED·78 (7thand
8thgrade) as well as a part time administrative assistant. LINKED will have a state of the art ministry facility completed in the spring of 2015. Currently,
we have over 200 students and 40 adult leaders in LINKED ministries.
In your role as Student Ministries
Pastor, 20% of your time would be spent providing leadership to the LINKED
ministry and 80% of
your time would be spent as high school pastor.

We are looking for the right person to join the leadership team of Faith Church as our Student Ministries
Pastor and bring a sense of passion, humor, and leadership to this vital ministry. A sense of creativity and an ability to work well with a diversity of people is critical to the success of this position.

The Student Ministries Pastor will direct, maintain, promote, and further develop outreach and discipleship ministries for students. In this role, 80% of the time will be spent as high school pastor,
and 20% of the time will be spent providing leadership to the LINKED Ministry staff (grades 5-8). This pastor should understand and have the ability to minister to the unique needs of teenagers and adult
Must have a mature and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Must live an
exemplary life based on clear biblical principles.
Must meet the requirements of an elder described in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9
Must give priority to prayer in ministry.
Must value team unity.
Must be approachable and teachable. Must be self-motivated.
Must be well-ordered in his personal life. Must be personable and empathetic. Must
exhibit the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
Must have a four-year college degree, preferably in Bible and
youth ministry. Must have the ability to teach the Scriptures in a relevant and effective manner. Must be
aware of current youth culture.
Is a leader and loves building into the leadership team God has placed at Faith Church. Is currently ordained or is willing to be ordained in the Evangelical

The High School Pastor will:
1. Provide leadership and vision for the High School Ministry that is consistent with the

The Student Ministries Pastor will report to the
Young Adults Pastor.
The Student Ministries Pastor will supervise the LINKED·56 and LINKED·78 Ministry
Leaders and an Administrative Assistant.
