Job Description:

Monte Vista Chapel is a church located in Turlock, CA. We are looking for a Pastor to High School students that can help us develop our core values not only in the High School ministry but also through out the church.  The primary responsibilty will be for HIgh School Ministry, however,depending on the aplicant, there may be other opportunities as well.


Our core values are:


Living Encounters with God – We are looking for a person that understands that teaching about God is only helpful when it actually leads people to encounter him.  Ministries at MVC are designed to help people see God in their lives and spend time directly with him.


Life Based Discipleship – We are looking for someone that has the experience, bearing and courage to step into the messy everyday situations and realities of family’s lives and invite them to take the hard and life giving road of following Jesus. 


Empowering and Equipping Ministers of the Gospel – The person that fills this position must have an eye to growing up volunteers and participants in the ministry to take what they are learning out into the world that they live in. 


Intentional Welcome and Enfolding – The ability to create environments where people feel safe, welcome and embraced is an essential requirement for the person taking this position.
