Founded in 1992, Life Christian Church has grown into a multicampus church with locations in Michigan (Troy, New Baltimore, & Howell) and Florida (Naples). The founders continue to foster the apostolic gift by planting churches, equipping leaders and transforming lives.

Life Christian is a non-denominational full gospel independent Bible Church that offers a contemporary service environment. We describe our teaching style as a "By faith and through grace" message. Our atmosphere is one that is loving and welcoming to all people and the diverse nature of our congregations represent that. Our congregations are comprised of multi ethnic, multi culture and socially diverse people who love and have a personal relationship with Jesus.

This position is slated for the New Baltimore Campus, but candidates must be prepared to do what is needed to support the churches growth in line with our apostolic roots of planting churches. New Baltimore is a more rural location that can be best described as a bedroom community. Locals enjoy a number of outdoor related activities including boating, fishing, and hunting as Lake St. Clair is only 1-2 miles from the campus. The congregation has a weekly attendance of 120 with approximately 20 in children’s. Currently this campus offers two services with a live teaching at the 1st service and the second service live streamed from the main Campus in Troy.

The current Campus Pastor has served as the Campus Pastor of both New Baltimore and Troy for the past two years and now is the time to train and develop a new Campus Pastor to focus solely on this location. Dedicated staffs of volunteers are already in place to support the new Campus Pastor.

Candidate will be expected to reside in the New Baltimore Community and become an active member with the residents of New Baltimore. Training will take place at the Main Campus in Troy and candidate will be expected to commute for the duration of the training and onboarding period of 2-3 months.

Candidates will be expected to embrace our concept of the "Big 4", where we believe church is simplified by focusing our efforts on just 4 core areas.

Encountering God - Candidates will be expected to coordinate and develop leaders in continuing improvement as we pursue a service environment where members of the congregation and visitors encounter God. This is done through a relevant worship experience, solid biblical teachings that are relevant to the lives of people today. Use of media and technology in the service environment is part of strategy to connect with where people are at in today's world. This campus currently offers two services on Sunday and one service on the first Wednesday of every month.

Growth Track - We believe that God has placed unique gifts in each and every one of us. Through our Growth Track we help people discover their next steps in their walk with God. The Campus Pastor is responsible for training and developing the Growth Track Coordinator and insuring that the process of Growth Track is continually improving.

Small Groups - At Life, we are not a church with small groups but a church of small groups. Life change happens in the context of relationships. Our small group ministry continues to grow as large percentages of our congregations are participants in small groups. Here pastoral care takes place as close relationships are built. Campus Pastor is responsible for insuring each semester of small groups launch effectively and teams of coaches are developed support the growth of this vital area of our ministry. We believe in the culture of yes, where almost any activity can be made into a small group experience.

Dream Teams - We are called to be the body of the church. Our Dream Teams are a collection of ministries that are empowered through the culture of yes to serve the kingdom of God. The Campus Pastor is responsible to encourage and empower ministry leaders to do what is needed to reach people for Christ while at the same time holding them within the boundaries of our structure and process.

The community of New Baltimore is approximately 45 minutes east of Detroit with direct access to a variety of outdoor recreational activities. The people of Michigan rarely miss an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, and New Baltimore in particular loves to bbq. The city is a short drive and offers all the amenities of a major metropolis, including cultural centers for the arts, a zoo, and a team from every professional sporting organization.
