Position Summary

The Productions Supervisor will be responsible for project management of live production and video/photo projects for SpringHill. Responsibilities will include management of video and photo assets for the organization as well as organization-wide support and management of equipment, systems and technical staff.


Principal Duties and Job Functions


Implementation of all aspects of live production or summer camp, retreats and off-site programs.


Shooting, editing and asset management of program, marketing and development video projects.


Producing and creating graphic content including motion graphics, bumpers, and stills that support events using Adobe CS.


Design, program and operation of lighting systems.


Professional audio mixing on analog and digital consoles.


Participate in all event productions and troubleshoot or maintain AVL production equipment.


Assist with creation of stage designs; sets and stage lighting, which support programmed events.


Maintenance of in-house equipment including projectors, fixtures, cameras, hazers, etc. Building cables in house, cleaning equipment regularly.


A team leader who understands the team dynamics and can coach, mentor, develop, prioritize and resource to get work completed.


Experience and Qualifications Requirements

Knowledge Skills and Abilities


A bachelor’s degree or training/experience in technical production and design including photography, videography, video editing, graphic design, live production and worship.


Three or more years of experience in productions or related field, large organization experience preferred.


In-depth computer literacy Mac and PC OS’s, digital asset management, computer hardware (for troubleshooting) and proficient with Adobe CS and Final Cut Pro.


Understanding of audio system operation with the ability to troubleshoot common issues as they arise. Audio (Live) Yamaha Digital Audio Consoles and analog audio systems, intercom and infrastructure. Audio (Post) ProTools 10 and above, Dante protocol.


Understanding or video system operation; Video (Live) Blackmagic Design or equivalent HD-SDI 1 or 2 ME video systems and infrastructure. Apple computers/Renewed Vision products. Video (Post) Apple Computers, Final Cut Pro X, Adobe CS 5.5+, DSLR’s , camcorders and MiniDV based cameras, lighting  for video.


Rigging Certifications preferred. Lighting, ETC Sensor Dimming, ETC lighting control Jands Vista v.2 lighting.


Thrives in a fast paced team environment with the ability to lead volunteers and work closely with guests.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements


Live in Evart or the surrounding area with the ability to travel as needed.


Must be able to push, bend and twist.


Must be able to lift up to 35lbs, and occasionally 35-100 lbs with assistance.


Good eye-hand coordination.
