Bettendorf Christian Church (BCC) is known for its Christ-centered preaching and plans our direction based on God’s word.  Its outreach service projects in the community are moved by a commitment to “Love God, Love Others.” Our entire leadership works together as a team. We are committed to developing a love for Christ in our members & youth and to grow significantly in our youth ministry in the coming years.

BCC’s vision is to fulfill the mission of Christ through relational discipleship and over 800 worshippers meet weekly in our services. We focus heavily on small groups, outreach, youth & children’s ministries, Millennials and growing through progressive, compelling ministry programs.

Our youth (6th – 12th grade) participation typically numbers between 50 and 100 between our weekend Sunday school and “Encounter” evening youth group.  Our youths participate in youth small groups, special events such as concerts, conferences and bible college visits, and actively help run the youth programs.

We currently hold 3 contemporary services - Saturday, 5 p.m., Sunday 9:00/10:30 a.m. and “Encounter” youth group on Sunday evenings.  We are looking to expand youth participation, growth and opportunities.


As youth pastor, you will lead, coordinate and develop BCC’s youth ministry, creatively and effectively in cooperation with the Senior Minister, staff, elders and members devoted to making disciples of Jesus.


The city of Bettendorf is one of the Iowa-Illinois Quad Cities, located on the Mississippi River. As a whole, the Quad Cities’ population is approx. 380,000. In 2011, the growing city of Bettendorf ranked 95th on the list of the “100 Best Places to Live” in America.  Bettendorf is a newer and growing city, renowned for its parks and school systems.
