Fairfax Fellows is a 12-month leadership development program for future pastors and church leaders at Fairfax Community Church outside Washington, DC. The fellowship is designed to equip you for growth in the ministry area of your choice with hands on experience.
You will also be coached by some of the best church leaders in the country. Whether your talents lie in worship arts, global outreach, or student ministries, we want to journey with you as you learn and grow in your calling.
Fellows work between 25-40 hours a week for their department under the supervision of a staff member and the Fellows Director. There are weekly classes that will require ongoing reading assignments as well as other projects. Peer learning is also important
to us, so there are multiple opportunities for community amongst the Fellows class. Fellows will be provided with a host home and a monthly stipend.
Our mission at Fairfax Community Church is to engage the culture with the good news of the Kingdom and invite people into a community committed to following Jesus. Fairfax Community is growing rapidly, with a current weekly attendance of 2,500 and an impact
that reaches around the world.
