  • Must provide portfolio of design and video work including at least one interview/testimony style video (Include scope of your creative involvement for each)
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications, ProPresenter, Planning Center, Apple OSX, iWork, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to plan ahead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, but also adapt to change in a fast-paced, high-output, multi-location environment
  • Ability to maintain high attention to detail
  • Professional media/production experience or degree in media/production related field
  • Broadcast and audio engineering experience is preferred but not necessary
  • Has growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to the Local Church
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary to Katy, TX area

Brief Overview

The Associate Media Pastor’s primary responsibilities will include execution of design

concepts and deliverables for all teaching series branding as well as auxiliary media

deliverables as required by series needs. Additional responsibilities will include lighting

design for Sunday services at our Westpark Campus and video/graphic support for

Adult Ministry Teams and Adult Small Groups. This position will work in Central Support

and report to the Media Pastor. This is a full-time ministry position that will provide

media support to all campuses with primary Sunday responsibilities overseeing

volunteers at our Westpark Campus, which is our broadcasting campus. The person

whom God brings to fill this role will provide immediate support by meeting project

deadlines at a high quality level.


Tasks & Responsibilities

General Tasks

  • Prepare Updates for Weekly Media/Worship Department Meeting
  • Maintain personal professional growth and departmental goals
  • Design lighting cues for Sunday services at the Westpark Campus
  • Create and update Planning Center service plans for the Westpark Campus
  • Weekly review of media/lyrics at all campuses to ensure high quality output on Sunday
  • Prepare sermon slide graphics for Thursday’s run through and Sunday’s final delivery
  • Oversee all technical aspects of Sunday services at Westpark Campus

Teaching Series Tasks

  • Produce sermon series promo videos
  • Produce weekly sermon series intro videos
  • Produce and post follow-up audio and video media for the Sunday message to include:
Parkway Mobile App
Social Media platforms

  • Design graphics for a variety of deliverables for each series, including:

Worship Guide
CD Labels
Message Slides
Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
Mobile App
Intro Videos

  • With additional deliverables required for Big Day Series’ (February, Easter, September, and Christmas Eve)

Invite Cards
Pizza Box Cards
Roadside Banners
Small Group Curriculum
Bulk Mail
Magazine Ads

  • Manage production of print items, including:

CD Labels
Invite Cards
Bulk Mail
Pizza Box Cards
Roadside Banners


Additional Tasks/Responsibilities

  • Produce testimony videos as needed by Media or Senior Pastor
  • Location Scouting
  • Talent Scheduling
  • Technical Execution
  • Assist Media Pastor with storyboarding and content development
  • Edit media for delivery via Sunday service, mobile app, web, and social media
  • Produce video email content as needed
  • Work with Small Groups Pastor to produce video curriculum for small groups as needed
  • Design & produce additional print/graphics as needed, including:

Prayer guides
Small group catalog covers
Servant Evangelism Project deliverables
4th of July invite cards
Generic Parkway Fellowship invite cards

  • Provide creative input for teaching series branding
  • Attend and provide creative input for Stage Team meetings (Stage Prop/Series Creative Planning)
  • Provide mobile support for campuses other than Westpark Campus as needed
  • Support Media Pastor and other staff in execution of successful multi-site ministry
  • Identify and develop volunteer leaders at Westpark campus to execute successful ministry
  • Assist Media Pastor in developing effective volunteer training programs
  • Additional video/graphic/print production projects as needed
