Job Description:

Wyatt Park Christian Church (worship attendance 355, annual budget $400K+) in St. Joseph, Missouri seeks a full-time Administrative Pastor. While pastoral, the position is primarily administrative with responsibility for overseeing the "nuts and bolts" of the church's ministries as we seek to carry out our mission to make and grow disciples of Jesus Christ. You will organize people and resources and give oversight to strategic planning, finance, administration, staff (day-to-day supervision), and operations. We seek staff members who feel called to help people discover and develop their gifts, and then serve in ways that are consistent with those gifts. You will assist with pastoral duties, and work in a collaborative way with the Senior Pastor and Family Pastor to guide all of the church's ministries.

The position requires a deep, personal commitment to Jesus Christ and to personal spiritual growth. At least 3 years experience as a leader in a church/non-profit organization or private sector company. Experience should include involvement with the business disciplines of human resources, finance, and operations. The successful individual must have a proven track record of effective leadership, judgment, and above reproach character.
