Job Description:

The Arlington Heights Campus Audio Engineer is responsible for providing audio reinforcement for the contemporary worship service of Arlington Heights.  This position will operate audio console and prepare stage microphones to ensure a quality sound experience for the worship service.



  1. Set up stage microphones and acoustic shields/baffles
  2. Provide media support for rehearsal
  3. Operate the console for weekly Sunday services and assist with equipment storage after service
  4. Prepare necessary effects for each instrument and set levels for vocals according to instructions provided by the Audio Director and Pastors.
  5. Ensure the equipment is installed and operating correctly
  6. Route audio to recording decks as needed
  7. Provide support to volunteer staff



  1. Must be able to lift 60 lbs from floor to overhead and navigate stairs with said load
  2. High school diploma or GED required; Associates degree or equivalent preferred
  3. 1-3 years of experience
  4. Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  5. Ministry experience in a local church or other large venue ministry.
